Privacy Policy

What we collect
- Account: email address, password (hashed by Supabase Auth, never stored in plaintext)
- Profile: display name, bio, avatar URL, favorite weight class, favorite fighter — only what you fill in
- Activity: picks you submit, comments you post, posts you write, likes you give
- Sessions: a secure cookie that keeps you signed in
What we DON'T collect
- No payment information (we don't take payments)
- No third-party advertising trackers
- No precise location
- No data sold to anyone, ever
How we use your data
We use your email to sign you in, contact you about account issues, and (only if you opt in) send card-day reminders. Your profile + picks + posts are shown publicly on your profile page and on the community feed. That's the whole product — you predict, others see, leaderboard happens.
Who has access
- You: always, via /settings
- Anyone on the site: your display name, bio, avatar, picks, posts, comments, win/loss record (public by design)
- Supabase (our database + auth provider): stores everything above on their infrastructure
- Vercel (our host): serves the website, sees request logs (IP, browser type) per industry standard
Cookies
We use one essential cookie for your sign-in session. We don't use analytics or advertising cookies. (If we add analytics later, this section will be updated and you'll see a banner before tracking starts.)
Your rights
You can:
- Edit your profile: /settings
- Delete your account: Settings → Danger zone → Delete account. This permanently removes your account, profile, picks, and comments.
- Export your data: email hello@cagesidepicks.com and we'll send it.
- If you're in the EU/UK/California: you have additional rights under GDPR / CCPA. Email us.
Children
CageSide is not directed at anyone under 18. If we learn we collected data from someone under 18, we delete it. Don't lie about your age.
Changes
If we materially change how we handle your data, we'll announce it on the site and (if it affects you) by email.
