Why did Prates get much better fights than MVP after losses to Garry?

As a JDM fan, this win is aging horribly

To be fair, this was win streak and champ Belal who beat champ Edwards, but these lankys in the division are destroying the old guard, and Bonfim could very well beat JDM with the calf kicks and size.
